2011:
Creation of Tapp’nGO brand and concept and start of development of the platform.
2010:
Urban Marketing Limited change of company structure to a public company with the addition of three new directors,the issue of new shares, audited financial reports and quarterly statements.
2010:
Approval by several international jurisdictions of patent protection for key technology under the international patent co-operation treaty (PCT), and a continued investment in this key intellectual property area by Urban Marketing.
2009:
Austrade grants funds under the Export Market Development Grant scheme to Urban Marketing. The approval of funds from the Australian Government reaffirms the confidence that Urban Marketing has in its intellectual, technology development and marketing strategy.
2009:
Urban Marketing roadshows and tests Mobiactions applications for proof of concept demonstration to Australian brands, media companies and advertising agencies.
2009:
Issuance of the PCT International Preliminary Examination (IPE) report on the Mobiactions patent. It achieved maximum marks for “innovativeness” and “inventiveness” criteria according to the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland.
2008:
Worlds first interactive mobile video promotion using Mobiactions technology for MasterCard’s sponsorship of Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo as part of the “Priceless” concept by Sairis Group (Urban Marketing’s technology partner).
2008:
Several more Mobiactions interactive mobile promotions in Japan solidified a reputation for uniqueness and dependability. Brands like Paramount (“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”), Quicksilver and Toshiba adopted “MobiActions” campaigns to launch their latest films, concept stores and laptops.
2006:
Registration of the Mobiactions patent for call to action advertising on mobile devices.
2006:
Urban Marketing forms its close relationship with Sairis Group – one of Japans most advanced mobile technology companies. The “Mobiactions” brand of interactive mobile advertising solutions was co-developed by Urban Marketing and Sairis Group.
