Sydney, Australia 2nd of December 2009

The formal approval of funds from the Australian Government reaffirms the confidence that Urban Marketing has in its intellectual, technology development and marketing strategy and enables us to further commit to strengthening an already substantial global accumulation of intellectual property.

With innovation again remaining a key competitive area for Australian business Urban Marketing is happy to be involved with ensuring our intellectual property is retained in Australia and not disappearing overseas like many good ideas.

With the funds from the EMDG scheme, Urban Marketing can further develop our Mobiactions patented converged media delivery platform and raise funds for expansion of operations both in Australia and overseas.

Without these funds it would be very difficult for a small organisation like Urban Marketing to further develop our technology and look at accessing international markets. Now we can do both thanks to the EMDG program.

We were very impressed with which the speed with which our application was assessed and approved. The application and approval process was straightforward, with Austrade staff both helpful and informative. I look forward to dealing with them again in 2010 during our next round of EMDG application. Says Sam Wilson, Chief Operating Officer of Urban Marketing.

The Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) scheme is a key Australian Government financial assistance program for aspiring and current exporters. Administered by Austrade, the scheme supports a wide range of industry sectors and products, including inbound tourism and the export of intellectual property and know-how outside Australia.
